Inner Wheel District 325

Inner Wheel District 325, comprising Bihar and Jharkhand, has a network of 96 clubs with nearly 6,000 members dedicated to the ideals of service, friendship, and international understanding. The District has been consistently making significant contributions to community service and women’s empowerment. In this spirit, the 42nd District Assembly of Inner Wheel District 325 was held on 28 June 2026 at B.N.R. Chanakya Hotel, Ranchi, with the enthusiastic participation of more than 350 members from clubs across Bihar and Jharkhand.
During the Assembly, Mrs. Priyaka Kumar of the Inner Wheel Club of Patna assumed office as the District Chairman of Inner Wheel District 325 (Bihar–Jharkhand) for the 2026–27 session. The newly constituted District Executive Team includes Mrs. Rashmi Gupta as AC Member, Mrs. Nibha Mishra as District Vice Chairman, Mrs. Neeta Narayan as District Secretary, Mrs. Vibha Charanpahari as District Treasurer, Mrs. Neelu Arora as District ISO, and Mrs. Sonal Verma as District Editor. Additionally, PDC Poonam Thakur assumed the role of District ESO, PDC Dr. Rita Jha took charge as District DCCC, and PDC Shweta Sinha assumed the responsibility of District DC.
The event was graced by Past International Inner Wheel President Mrs. Mamta Gupta as the Chief Guest and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Mrs. Mahua Maji as the Guest of Honour. All Past District Chairmen (PDCs), members of the District Executive Committee, and several distinguished Inner Wheel office bearers were also present. On the occasion, District Chairman Mrs. Priyaka Kumar reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to the values of service, friendship, and international understanding, stating that the members would work with dedication towards the upliftment of underprivileged communities and the empowerment of women while striving to set new benchmarks in community service during the 2026–27 session.
As part of the 2026–27 flagship project, “Koshish – Ek Prayas” (An Endeavour), a special room for children with disabilities was constructed. In addition, football nets, footballs, and jerseys were distributed to economically underprivileged children to encourage their participation in sports. This service initiative was successfully carried out through the support and initiative of District Editor Mrs. Anita Jaiswal. The Assembly concluded in a dignified and enthusiastic atmosphere, with the newly elected office bearers reaffirming their commitment to the Inner Wheel motto of “Service, Friendship and International Understanding” and resolving to take community service initiatives to even greater heights during the 2026–27 session.
