Tiger Knights storm into JGL Season 9 final with commanding victory

June 28, 2026

 Pioneer News Service
Jamshedpur

Tiger Knights produced a clinical performance to become the first team to qualify for the Jamshedpur Golf League (JGL) Season 9 Grand Finale after registering a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Epic Warriors in the Qualifier Finals.

The ninth edition of the Jamshedpur Golf League has entered its decisive stage, with 12 teams battling for the coveted championship title. Tiger Knights’ dominant display has now placed them just one step away from lifting the trophy. Competing in a best-of-five format, Tiger Knights wrapped up the contest by winning the opening three matches in succession, leaving Epic Warriors with no opportunity for a comeback.

The convincing victory reflected the team’s consistency, composure and teamwork throughout the weekend. Tiger Knights’ success was spearheaded by Captain Sourabh Agarwal, whose leadership played a crucial role in guiding the team to the final. Rohhit Tiwary, Punam Doshi, Varun Soni and Taranpreet Singh Khanuja also delivered impressive performances to help the side secure a comfortable victory.

The team’s balanced performance under pressure highlighted why Tiger Knights remain one of the strongest contenders in the tournament.

In the Eliminator Round, Eagle Eye kept their championship hopes alive after edging past Bogey Brothers in a closely fought encounter.

The victory earned Eagle Eye a place in the next knockout stage, where they will take on Epic Warriors on July 4 and 5. The winner of that contest will secure the second berth in the grand finale.
