Janta Darbar organised in Deoghar

June 23, 2026

Shatrughn Prasad

Deoghar

Additional Collector Hira Kumar chaired a Janata Darbar (People’s Court) to ensure prompt resolution of grievances faced by district residents.

All district-level officers and employees were present at the event so that public problems could be addressed on the spot by the concerned departments.

People from both urban and rural areas of the district submitted their issues before the Additional Collector. These included matters related to the Jharkhand Chief Minister Maiya Samman Yojana, Supply Department, Land Acquisition, various circle offices, and the Education Department.

The AC patiently heard each complainant individually and assured them that all complaints brought to his notice would be inquired into and resolved at the earliest.

Several applications and complaints pertaining to different departments were received during the Janata Darbar. After listening to the grievances, the AC directed the concerned departmental officers to conduct physical verification of all applications and resolve them expeditiously.

He further instructed all officials to take prompt action on these complaints and submit their feedback/report to the Deputy Commissioner’s office within one week, so that proper monitoring of the grievance redressal can be ensured.
