Moolvasi Sadan Morcha Central President Rajendra Prasad said the JPSC, JSSC and recruitment-related issues have been affecting Jharkhand’s students and youth for nearly 25 years.
Prasad said the use of lathi charge and tear gas during the protest was unfortunate. Instead of using force, the government and administration should have exercised restraint and tried to resolve the situation through dialogue. He said Chief Minister Hemant Soren should have directly engaged with student representatives to understand their concerns.
He urged the government to hold talks with student representatives as well as Adivasi, Moolvasi and Sadan social organisations and work towards a permanent solution to the long-pending JPSC, JSSC and recruitment issues.
