Special Fire Safety Training provided to Home Guard jawans

A one-day fire safety training programme was organised for the jawans of the Home Guard (Home Guards) at the Fire Station in Deoghar.

The main objective of the programme was to prepare the jawans to effectively handle emergency situations and fire incidents.

During the training, the District Fire Officer briefed the participants in detail about the causes of fire, different types of fires, and techniques to control fires at the initial stage. The jawans were also given practical hands-on training (mock drills) on operating various types of fire extinguishers so they can respond swiftly in any adverse situation.

The Fire Officer stressed the importance of such training, stating that Home Guard personnel play a vital role not only in maintaining law and order but also in disaster management. This training will enable them to ensure their own safety while better protecting the lives and property of the general public
