Police arrested two men within six hours of receiving information about the alleged gang rape of a woman in the MGM police station area of Mango on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Om Prakash and Jitendra Sharma, are being interrogated while further investigation is underway, police said.
The incident came to light after villagers found the woman injured by the roadside and alerted the police. She was immediately shifted to MGM Hospital, where she underwent treatment and medical examination.
According to her statement to police, the accused allegedly lured her on the pretext of going for a drive and took her towards Mirjadih near Dimna Lake.
