The Jharkhand unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday held a meeting of its core committee in Ranchi, where senior leaders deliberated on a range of political, organisational and public interest issues, with particular focus on the state’s law and order situation and alleged irregularities in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC).
The meeting, held at the BJP state headquarters, was chaired by state president Aditya Sahu and attended by several senior party leaders.
Addressing the media after the meeting, BJP state general secretary Manoj Singh said the committee held detailed discussions on several issues concerning the state and expressed concern over what it described as the deteriorating law and order situation under the present government.

According to Singh, the meeting also reviewed allegations of irregularities in JPSC recruitment processes and other issues affecting public interest.
Apart from public issues, the leaders also deliberated on organisational matters and the party’s role in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise.
Among those present at the meeting were Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi, organisational general secretary Karmveer Singh, former Chief Minister Madhu Koda, Rajya Sabha MP and former state BJP president Deepak Prakash, former state presidents Ravindra Kumar Rai and Dineshanand Goswami, state vice-president Bhanu Pratap Shahi, and state general secretaries Ganesh Mishra, Amar Kumar Bauri and Manoj Singh.
