A positive example of youth participation has emerged in Bokaro’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026) campaign. Pushpa Kumari, a Semester-V student of Tenughat College, has volunteered as a #BokaroBrandAmbassador and is actively assisting the Booth Level Officer (BLO) at Booth No. 51 in the Gomia Assembly Constituency.
Appreciating her initiative, District Election Officer (DEO)-cum-Deputy Commissioner congratulated her and directed the AERO-cum-Circle Officer to honour her.
The initiative follows the DEO-cum-DC’s appeal to educated youth across Bokaro to actively support the SIR-2026 campaign by assisting BLOs in distributing and collecting enumeration forms and helping voters complete the revision process.
Inspired by the appeal, Pushpa Kumari has been assisting the BLO with form distribution, collection and voter awareness. Ajay Nath Jha said such initiatives strengthen democracy and inspire others to participate. He urged more educated youth to become #BokaroBrandAmbassadors and contribute to the successful implementation of the SIR-2026 campaign
