DPS Bokaro holds CBP on AI integration in classrooms

Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro organised a Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Classrooms in line with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NCFSE 2023. The programme focused on preparing teachers for the implementation of the CBSE’s Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence curriculum from the 2026–27 academic session.
The training was conducted by resource persons Sanjay Kumar Senapati, Senior AI/IT Teacher at Holy Cross School, Balidih, and Divya Pandey, AI/IT Teacher at MGM Higher Secondary School, Bokaro Steel City. They highlighted the importance of integrating AI with classroom teaching, promoting computational thinking, creativity, ethical AI use and future-ready learning while encouraging teachers to adopt technology-driven, skill-based pedagogy.
Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar said such capacity-building programmes help teachers stay updated with emerging educational trends. Stressing the responsible use of AI, he remarked that while AI has transformed education and modern life, it must be used ethically to enhance, not replace, human intelligence.
