Kerandari Celebrates Independence Day 2026 with Communities

NML Kerandari celebrated the 80th Independence Day with a strong message of safety, progress and shared development, bringing employees and local communities together in the spirit of “We share progress together.” The event was graced by Head of Project, Shri Anand Ji Agarwal along with Dr. Manisha Agarwal.
The celebration began with the national song Vande Mātaram, setting a patriotic tone for the day, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by Head of Project, Shri Anand Ji Agarwal, and the National Anthem.
In his address, Head of Project, Shri Anand Ji Agarwal highlighted safety as the top priority in every activity and called upon employees to work with care, responsibility and teamwork. He also stressed the importance of community development, noting that the growth of the project should go hand in hand with the well-being and progress of the people living around it. Students of Upgraded High School Basariya presented patriotic songs and dance performances, adding energy and pride to the celebration. As part of NML Kerandari’s support for education and community development, 16 meritorious students of Upgraded High School Basariya, who secured 80% and above in the Jharkhand Class 10 examination, were awarded merit scholarships. The celebrations reflected NML Kerandari’s commitment to growing together with its communities, where safety, education and shared progress remain at the heart of development.
