XLRI Leadership Education and Development (XLEAD), the executive education arm of XLRI–Xavier School of Management, has partnered with Dale Carnegie India (Walchand PeopleFirst Limited) to integrate globally recognised behavioural and leadership development into management education and executive learning.
The collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), combines XLRI’s academic expertise with Dale Carnegie India’s century-long experience in developing behavioural competencies. Together, the institutions will design and deliver industry-focused programmes for students, professionals and executives, aimed at strengthening leadership and interpersonal skills essential in today’s rapidly evolving workplace.
As businesses adapt to artificial intelligence, digital transformation and changing work environments, the partnership will focus on developing critical human capabilities such as communication, emotional intelligence, executive presence, influence, ethical leadership and trust-building. The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between technical knowledge and behavioural excellence.
Under the agreement, the two organisations will jointly offer programmes in business communication, executive presence, business storytelling, presentation skills, public speaking, executive coaching, influencing and persuasion. These programmes will be delivered through classroom, online and blended learning formats, along with industry-recognised certifications.
XLRI Director Dr. (Fr.) Sebastian George, S.J., said the institute has always believed that competence must be complemented by character, adding that the partnership would help prepare students to think critically, communicate with empathy and lead with integrity.
Pallavi Jha, Chairperson and Managing Director of Dale Carnegie India, said the collaboration marks a significant milestone in leadership education and is based on the belief that behavioural excellence and leadership capability will be among the most valuable career assets for professionals in the future.
The partnership aims to prepare future-ready leaders by combining academic rigour with practical behavioural development to meet the demands of increasingly interconnected and technology-driven workplaces.
