The district administration’s ‘Hum Aapko Sunte Hain’ public grievance programme once again reflected its citizen-centric approach as Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha handed over a battery-operated tricycle to Kalai Pramanik, a differently-abled resident of Bhojudih in Chandankiyari block, fulfilling his long-pending need within minutes.
The Deputy Commissioner heard 25 public grievances from across the district and directed officials to ensure time-bound, sensitive and quality disposal of all applications. The grievances related to land, revenue, social security, education, BSL, DPLR, supply, welfare and other departmental matters.
Jha said ‘Hum Aapko Sunte Hain’ is not merely a grievance redressal platform but a medium to strengthen public trust by ensuring timely assistance, justice and responsive governance.
The programme was attended by Deputy Development Commissioner Shatabdi Majumdar, IAS Probationer Arvind Radhakrishnan and officials from various departments.
