Rotary Club of Jamshedpur introduces new Board for 2026–27 Session

The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur formally commenced its 2026–27 Rotary session with its first weekly meeting held at Beldih Club in Bistupur. The highlight of the event was the introduction of the club’s newly elected Board of Directors for the new Rotary year.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the start of the new session. Club President Dr. V. S. Sinha launched the message of Rotary International President Oluyinka Babalola for the Rotary year 2026–27, outlining the organisation’s vision and priorities for the coming year.
The newly elected directors were then introduced to the members, marking the official beginning of their tenure.
A cultural programme added vibrancy to the evening, with Lakshmi Sharat and students of DAV Public School presenting captivating dance performances that received warm appreciation from the audience.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Rotarian Aruna Taneja. The proceedings were compered by Rotarian Harpreet Marwah and Dr. Rajeev Bhushan Singh, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Rotarian N. Ramamurthy.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Governors Shivani Goel and Pramod Dubey, Honorary Secretary Suneet Kumar, Past District Governors Vijay Mehta, Ronnie D’Costa, and Dr. R. Bharat, along with Deepak Tank, Darshana Tank, Sharat Chandran, Geeta Dubey, Koustuv Kumar, Vinod Menon, Manju Singh, Khokhan Dutta, Asha Singh, N. Ramamurthy, and several other members of the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur.
