Lohardaga gets the gift of modern sports facility

Monday was a historic day for the athletes and sports lovers of Lohardaga district. Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Meena and Superintendent of Police Sadiq Anwar jointly inaugurated the newly constructed state-of-the-art indoor stadium near the Assembly Hall. During the inspection, the two officers conducted a detailed inspection of the stadium complex, assessing the available sports facilities, and also inaugurated the modern gymnasium. During the inspection, Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Meena directed the Executive Engineer, Building Division, to complete all remaining work within the stipulated timeframe with high quality. He stated that the stadium will play a crucial role in nurturing the district’s sports talent. The Deputy Commissioner directed District Sports Officer Upvan Bada to appoint adequate sanitation workers and wardens to ensure regular cleaning, security, and maintenance of the stadium. He stated that providing a clean, safe, and conducive sports environment to the athletes is the administration’s priority. Reviewing the pay-and-play system, the Deputy Commissioner directed the opening of a separate bank account for the regular collection of membership and monthly fees, transparent operations, and financial management. He said that the entire system should be operated with accountability and transparency, so that the stadium can be maintained better in the future. The Deputy Commissioner said that the government’s aim is to provide national and international level facilities to the players of the district by developing modern sports infrastructure. If these resources are used and maintained properly, the players of Lohardaga can bring glory to the state and the country. On this occasion, DDC Raj Maheshwaram, SDO Amit Kumar, District Sports Officer Upvan Bada, Executive Officer of Municipal Council Mukti Kido, Executive Engineer of Building Division, players and a large number of sports lovers were present.
